Geosynthetics Liquefaction Deformation Suppression Method (SECURE-G Method)
As a liquefaction countermeasure method, it enables cost reduction and shorter construction periods compared to conventional methods! It suppresses the deformation of embankments during liquefaction in level 2 earthquakes. [Currently offering a collection of achievements!]
The "SECURE-G Method" involves constructing a crushed stone layer that incorporates geosynthetics, which are tensile reinforcement materials made of high-strength fibers, beneath the embankment. This method suppresses the deformation of the embankment during liquefaction. In addition to preventing cracks and unevenness at the top, it significantly reduces costs compared to conventional solidification-based liquefaction countermeasures. It can be applied to earth structures (such as bridge abutment backfills, tsunami multi-defense embankments, emergency roads, etc.), as well as parking lots and disaster prevention stations. 【Features】 ■ Reduces settlement deformation by over 30% ■ Suppresses lateral displacement ■ Prevents sliding of the embankment, cracks, and unevenness at the top ■ Damage is limited, allowing for rapid recovery of embankment functionality ■ Standard performance that significantly reduces costs and greenhouse gas emissions compared to conventional solidification-based liquefaction countermeasures ■ NETIS registration No. TH-140012-VR ☆ Currently, we are offering five years' worth of back issues of the "Geosynthetics Deformation Suppression Method Research Society SECURE Newsletter," which summarizes case studies.
